It makes a mirror of your important information and keeps it actual according scheduler. It works as a background process. The program supports persisting to secondary hard disks, flash memory and network shared folders.
This program checks your working folders and mirror folders and backup only changed files. It works very fast.
Many programs make temporary files and folders. Alive Backup allows to use a powerful filter. It never stores files that you do not need.
Mirror folders are a plain copy of your working folders. You can easy restore your information using Windows Explore or any file processor.
For user convenient the program has presetting for My Documents folder, Outlook Express Mail boxes, MS Outlook data folder and some others.

Adds for Outlook is a plug-in component for Microsoft Outlook. This is a collection of small improvements.
(*) You can use Outlook as an alarm clock. But if you exit it by mistake alarm will not work. Adds for Outlook allows prevent Outlook from exiting. Instead it hides Outlook and sets an Outlook icon into the systray. So Outlook is always at hand and no alarm messages will be lost.
(*)The Reminder of Microsoft Outlook can play only wav-file alarms. This Outlook Add-In component allow to play as alarms any music and video files ( mp3, mpg, avi, etc. )
(*) There is a Microsoft mistake in some outlook versions: only the first copy of the running application can execute scripts and plug-ins. Adds for Outlook can prevent multiply starting of Outlook.
(*) When you receive advertisement in the html format you often need to wait while images are loaded. Adds for Outlook can delete such images from letters.
(*) Html scripts can be dangerous. This plug-in can also remove them.
(*) Any feature can be switched off.
Adds for Outlook does not work with Outlook Express.

The main idea of the program is to synchronize your PC's clock in the most reliable and resource-saving way.
Clock in your PC needs to be corrected only several times a month. And it is this fact that defines the way the program works: the program runs when Windows starts, checks whether synchronization has been done this day already, and stops immediately if so. Otherwise the program checks for Internet connection, then tries to synchronize your clock and ends its work if succeeded. So as you see mostly the program is idle and is not wasting resources of your PC. Synchronization is done automatically while you are receiving your e-mail or surfing the web and no actions are to be done by you.
